DOT Specimen Collector Instructor Training

This DOT Specimen Collector Instructor Training course covers the federal regulations for specimen collections for drug testing and the required 5 mock specimen collections. Students will also receive Instructor training, as well as training resources required to train and certify students as professional specimen collectors. Students will receive their DOT Specimen Collector and Instructor certificate.

As part of the DOT mandate, you will be required to demonstrate proficiency in DOT Regulations (49 CFR Part 40) and complete the five specific mock collections. As a Professional Specimen Collector Instructor, you will receive detailed checklists and instructions for observing the mock collections for use in your own training.

Additionally you will receive all the materials used in the Specimen Collector class, including videos that illustrate split specimen collections and problem collections such as temperature out of range, shy bladder, and adulterated specimens. Course materials also include the PowerPoint presentation used in our classes.
