Description
True-Cal II Device
Use the Tru-Cal II to calculate a gas standard or value as part of accuracy check or calibration adjustment procedures performed on any evidential breath alcohol device. The True-Cal II device is designed to interpret the true alcohol concentration value of an alcohol gas tank by simply pressing a button. Without the True-Cal II the operator manually consults an elevation table on the label of every tank to calculate the expected alcohol value. Automatically interpreting the true alcohol value, or standard using the True-Cal II device eliminates operator confusion or error in manually interpreting the gas standard.
The True-Cal II automatically measures barometric pressure to calculate the true alcohol value of a tank at a given elevation. Day to day changes in barometric pressure may also cause the alcohol value of a tank to change very slightly. The operator presses the button and the True-Cal II automatically displays the calculated alcohol value for a tank at that location and moment.
