Fentanyl Drug Residue Surface Test Kit
The Fentanyl drug residue surface test kit provides first responders and investigators with a fast and reliable method for field testing of suspicious and potentially dangerous drug residues or substances.
Detect Drug Substances and Residues
The drug residue surface test kit instantly detects these 5 drugs:
- Methamphetamines (including Crystal Meth and Ecstasy)
- THC (Cannabis, Hash)
Two Easy Ways to Test
There are two easy ways to conduct field testing to detect the presence of drugs. First responders or investigators can test residues on items or surfaces for the presence of drugs. Alternatively they can test substances for the presence of drugs using the buffer vial. No specialized training is required. However, in the case of testing for Fentanyl, the CDC and NIOSH have published important safety precautions. Please see our blog article for these recommendations
A red colored line should be observed in the control region marked C to indicate the test is performing properly. If no red line appears in the control region, the test is invalid and should be discarded and the operator should perform another test using a new test kit. A red colored line observed in the test region indicates a presumptive negative test result. The color and density of the red line may vary in the control and test regions. A presumptive positive test result occurs if no red line appears in the test region.
The drug residue surface test provides qualitative preliminary results, which only indicates the presumptive presence of the drug in a residue or substance. It does not measure drug levels.
