The DOT mandates all employees who perform safety-sensitive duties be informed of the drug and alcohol testing process and understand how testing is administered. This 60-minute interactive course communicates testing requirements and serves to educate employees about the effects of drug and alcohol use and abuse. With our training, employees will:

Who would benefit from taking this course?

Employees falling under one of five DOT agencies (FMCSA, FAA, FTA, FRA, and PHMSA) and who perform safety-sensitive duties, as well as companies not regulated by the DOT but follow DOT testing protocols, will benefit by taking this course.

Do employees receive a certificate after completing this course?

Yes. Trainees will see a personalized certificate under the “Achievements” tab located on their course homepage.

If employees cannot finish the course in a single sitting, can they take the course in stages?

Yes. Employees may take the course at their own pace, and they get to resume where they leave each time they log in.

Will employees be able to log in to access the course after completion?

After completing the course, an employee retains access to its content for up to 30 days.

As a supervisor, may I purchase a bulk number of courses and assign them to my employees?

When you purchase one or more courses for multiple employees, you will receive an email with a training token number. While you can activate the token number on behalf of your employees, you can also share the token number with your employees who can use it to sign up for a course.

As a supervisor, can I sign my employees up for one or more courses and track their progress?

Our Training Teams Portal lets supervisors control which course(s) their employees may access. Team Leaders get the required permissions to enroll employees, assign courses, and track progress. Click here to view package pricing.

What happens if employees encounter technical difficulties accessing or navigating through the course?

Every employee gets access to a Help Desk that is available Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Eastern Time. You may access live help during regular business hours by calling 800.227.9890, sending an email to training@alcopro.com, or via the Instant Chat feature on our website.
