The Guth Saliva Trap mouthpiece is a multi-purpose mouthpiece that fits a variety of breath alcohol testing instruments. The mouthpiece has two tapered ends. Either end may be inserted into the instrument. The design of the mouthpiece virtually eliminates liquids from being blown through the mouthpiece into an instrument. The Guth Saliva Trap is frequently used when connecting a Simulator to a breath testing device when performing Accuracy Checks and Calibration Adjustments. This prevents the liquid from the simulator solution from entering the breath test device.
