BreathLogix Breathalyzer
The BreathLogix breathalyzer quickly screens individuals for alcohol with its compact, wall-mounted design. The BreathLogix breathalyzer is designed for unmanned rapid testing of large or small people groups, delivering a pass/fail result and BrAC alcohol level in seconds. The intuitive screen and voice prompts guide the individual through the self-testing process. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration approves BreathLogix, listing it on the conforming products list as a DOT alcohol screening device.
You can customize this automated alcohol screening system for your specific use. A breath sample is delivered either by blowing air through a straw, or in contactless mode where the individual blows their breath into the breath inlet port. The device’s camera captures the individual’s image as they provide a breath sample and ties the employee’s image to a test result. Each test record includes the date and time of the test, individual’s ID number, test results and photos, providing a complete chain of custody. Print test records using the optional printer or store results in the BreathLogix Connect cloud database.
Data Management
BreathLogix breathalyzers come with a USB port for quick access to testing data. The device stores testing data in its 64 GB internal memory and transfers it to a USB device or a cloud-based data management system via Wi-Fi. Test result data can be accessed through a remote management dashboard with AWS (Amazon Web Service). Testing data can be backed up daily, weekly or monthly.
BreathLogix uses Bluetooth to integrate with an external thermal printer or other devices. Integrate BreathLogix with other external security devices using the optional integration Hub. An optional Biometric Scanner uses facial recognition technology to identify the individual before initiating the test.
Workplace Testing
The BreathLogix breath tester is ideal for non-regulated workplace testing programs. Administer an automatic self-test without the need for tying up valuable testing resources. The camera captures the employee’s image, tying the test results to the employee. Employers can automatically screen employees, contractors or visitors as part of security and access control protocols, or use BreathLogix to screen employees before they start work, improving worker safety.
24/7 Sobriety Programs
The BreathLogix breathalyzer is ideal for 24/7 sobriety and probations programs, because it can administer a self-test, which saves on time and resource allocation. The subject keys in a unique number, such as a parole or probations number, to begin the test. The camera captures images of the subject as they submit a breath sample.
