Used Alco-Sensor
Only a small number of refurbished Alco-Sensors are available, as this two-digit model was discontinued several years ago. Because the Alco-Sensor displays only a two digit result it is not rated as an evidential instrument. However, it provides very accurate and precise results and is appropriate for any setting that does not require evidential quality results. Ideal for clinical use and in substance abuse treatment programs.
Easy Two-Button Operation
Two large buttons on the front of the Alco-Sensor control the operation of the instrument. The operator presses the SET button to prepare the instrument for a test. As the subject blows through the instrument the operator presses the READ button to capture a sample of the subject’s breath for analysis. The Alco-Sensor displays results within seconds; the peak reading gives the final result.
