RBT IV Printer for DOT Testing
More RBT IV breath alcohol testing systems are used than any other instrument because of their precision and ease of use. The RBT IV printer has a keypad that allows you to initiate a test, enter subject information and respond to the display’s testing prompts. You can integrate the RBT IV printer with an Alco-Sensor IV handheld device to create a lightweight, portable DOT approved breath alcohol testing system. The RBT IV printer displays step-by-step testing prompts that walk the operator through a DOT test procedure. The step-by-step displays greatly reduce operator error and increase testing success.
The printer’s internal memory stores approximately 900 tests.
Portable and Easy Testing
The RBT IV printer connects to the handheld Alco-Sensor IV device to produce a portable breath alcohol testing system. Users have the option of the water-proof Pelican case that holds the Alco-Sensor IV and RBT IV printer, or the padded nylon carrying case that holds the Alco-Sensor IV and printer as well as a 34 liter Alcohol Gas Tank, regulator, and mouthpieces.
The RBT IV printer includes function keys that quickly initiate the most commonly used procedures by pressing a single button: Screening test, Confirmation test, Calibration adjustment, and Accuracy Check. The RBT IV devotes an additional key to reprint the last test. The user-friendly design means more efficient testing and fewer operator errors.
Display Messages Prompt Operator Through Test Protocol
The two-line display on the RBT IV printer prompts the operator through each test procedure. A Screening test of .020 or greater triggers a 15-minute countdown on the display of the printer. The RBT IV automatically starts a Confirmation test after the :15 minute wait period and prompts the operator to perform an Accuracy Check after Confirmation test results of .020 or greater.
