DOT Urine and Oral Fluid Specimen Collector Training: Regulations
The online DOT urine and oral fluid specimen collector training course covers current DOT regulations and requirements for professional specimen collectors for DOT drug testing. At the end of each module you will test on your knowledge of the DOT rules and regulations, 49 CFR Part 40. This course does not include the required 5 urine or oral fluid mock specimen collections or oral fluid device proficiency training.
Upon successfully completing this online course, you will receive a certificate of completion on the DOT rules and regulations for urine and oral fluid collections only. You will also receive an email with your test score and instructions for downloading your certificate. Professional Specimen Collectors must complete 5 urine and oral fluid mock collections in order to be DOT compliant and approved to conduct specimen collections for drug testing. In the case of performing DOT oral fluid specimen collections, collectors must also take device proficiency training on the oral fluid collection device they plan to use.
