BAC Wheel for Women
The BAC Wheel for women (blood alcohol concentration), calculates intoxication levels for women based on their weight and number of drinks consumed and includes instructions for use and interesting alcohol facts. The BAC Wheel dimensions are 5″ x 3-5/8″. Also available, the Combo BAC Wheel, which calculates intoxication levels for men and women.
Calculates Intoxication Levels
The upper window displays estimated alcohol levels one hour after drinking. The lower window displays declining alcohol level hour by hour for a five-hour interval. Number of drinks range is 1 to 16. Weight Range is 80 lb to 260 lb. Intoxication range is 0.02 to 0.40.
Estimates Based on Widmark Formula
The Widmark Formula uses variables such as body weight, percentage of water in the body, number of drinks, and rate of alcohol elimination to scientifically estimate intoxication levels. Our BAC Wheel for women uses average values for women in order to calculate intoxication levels for women based on number of drinks, body weight, and time since the last drink.
Teaching Tool for Alcohol Safety Education
The Blood Alcohol Concentration Wheel makes a great hands-on teaching tool for alcohol education programs and allows students to instantly see how alcohol effects women. Students can dial in different body weights to see how significantly the same dose of alcohol effects a very small person compared to a very large person. The BAC Wheels for women also illustrate how long it takes to sober up by calculating the hour-by-hour decrease in intoxication.
