Alco-Sensor VXL Sampling Cup

Alco-Sensor sampling cup

Alco-Sensor sampling cup is for passive alcohol testing

Alco-Sensor VXL Sampling Cup

The Alco-Sensor VXL sampling cup is used in place of a mouthpiece to perform passive breath alcohol testing on one or more subjects at a time. The sampling cup snaps firmly onto the top of the device. Remove the sampling cup and replace with a mouthpiece to perform a direct breath alcohol test. Passive breath alcohol testing cannot be performed during a DOT test.

How to Perform Passive Breath Alcohol Testing

When operating the Alco-Sensor VXL in passive test mode, snap on the cup and hold the device about six inches from the subject. Then instruct the subject to blow into the sampling cup. Sampling cups never come into contact with the subject’s mouth so they do not need to be changed for each test. Operating the Alco-Sensor VXL in a passive test mode allows the operator to perform a single test or rapidly testing a large number of people for the presence of alcohol.
