Erasing the memory on the RBT IV is a two-step process. The printer must first go through the upload process. At the end of the upload process the instrument offers the operator the option to erase memory.
The instrument must be turned off to initiate the process. Hold the “Last Test” button down and at the same time press the “ON” button to turn the printer on. The operator can then release the “Last Test” button. The upload process may take several minutes if the memory is nearly full. When the upload process is complete he display prompts “Erase Memory? Y / N”. Press and hold the YES button for several seconds to erase memory. Erasing memory resets the test numbers so that the next test run will be test # 1.
