DOT regulations require that all Breath Alcohol Technicians (BAT) and Specimen Collectors receive training every five years. There is no “grandfather“ exception for experienced BATs or Collectors. Every BAT and Collector must meet the five-year training requirement.
Training must comply with federal requirements outlined in 49 CFR Part 40. AlcoPro’s regional classes and onsite training classes meet the DOT’s certification and re-training requirements.
