AlcoPro’s New Training Director
It is with great pleasure AlcoPro introduces Ken Hutchinson as our newly appointed Training Director. Ken brings over 27-years of experience in the DOT drug and alcohol testing and compliance industry. For 10-years Ken served as a clinic manager, overseeing drug and alcohol testing training programs to ensure BAT and Specimen Collector personnel were knowledgeable in DOT Federal Regulations and professional in daily testing protocols. Additionally, Ken regularly performed client audit consulting services for clients like the Department of Energy (DOE) Tennessee Drug-Free Workplace Programs, ensuring grant compliance.
Additionally, Ken holds various professional certifications including, BAT and Collector Trainer and MRO Assistant. During his 10-years serving as a clinic manager, Ken managed large corporate drug and alcohol testing accounts, providing regulatory consultation to clients such as Coca Cola, FedEx, Phillips & Jordan and UPS.
“I plan to leverage my knowledge of the DOT Federal Regulations to structure effective classroom and web-based training programs for our training clientele, as well as develop and extend compliance consulting offerings to optimize their operations,” says Ken.
Ken’s greatest focus at AlcoPro will be to structure more effective, user-friendly web-based/on-demand training programs, so customers have greater choices and flexibility. “Not all online training is the same,” Ken commented. “We see a need for users to train at a reasonable pace, track their progress, have ongoing access to resources, all of which are served up in a customer-friendly experience”.
